When you perform a search, you can select whether you want to find a man or woman in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or you can search all branches simultaneously.

Unfortunately, you can't do detailed advanced searches as a free member. You'll have to upgrade to have that option.

MilitaryCupid.com is my favorite military dating service. The website has a simple but nice design and layout and some good features.

My searches brought back hundreds of men and women, and I like that many of them had used the site within the last week.

That means it's not one of these useless dating websites full of inactive members.

The extensive search options let you define almost every aspect of what you’re looking for. You can search by age, distance, last activity, type of relationship, appearance, race, lifestyle, and more.

You can send mail and use the chat rooms to communicate with members.

The number of military singles, the advanced search tools and other features make MilitaryCupid.com my favorite out of all military dating services.

MilitaryFriends.com is a good dating service, but I don't like it as much as I like MilitaryCupid.

When you search, you can select whether you want to find a man or woman in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or you can search all branches simultaneously.

The website has some international reach, and you can search within America or overseas.

My only complaint is that you can't do advanced searches as a free member. You can try some generic searches, but you'll need to upgrade to gain full access to search using lots of details.

Although it's not a military dating service, Match.com has a huge membership base and you can meet military singles there.

After you’ve logged into the site, go to the Custom Search options and check off “Military” under the Lifestyle / Occupation menu.

You can also type “military” into the Keyword Search field and see who comes up.

I did some test searches for singles within 200 miles from my city and found almost 500 personals. A decent number of them had used the website within the past 7 days.

If you live in a big city or you’re willing to meet someone long distance, it shouldn’t be hard for you to find people who spark your interest.

Military Singles Connection is a quality dating service worth exploring.

At MilitaryCupid for example, you have to select "I am Male Seeking a Male."

You simply make the appropriate selection at any military dating service that you choose.

You can also search for just pen pals if you're not looking to "date" anyone.
